VAT and Title Deed Fee Discount Extended until the End of the Year

The development expected by the real estate sector related to the title deed fee discount was announced by the Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak.

In last May, the VAT rate, which was 18% was reduced to 8% and the title deed rate was reduced to 3%, which used to be 4%, with the title deed discount applied to housing sales. Speaking at the Tax Audit Board Strategy Assessment meeting, Minister Albayrak said that as a result of the new tax package announced, the VAT rate and the title deed fee discount was extended until 31 December 2018.
