New Record In Real Estate Sales To Foreigners!

According to housing sales statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), an all-time record is reached in residential sales to foreigners. In August 2018, 3.866 houses were sold to foreigners.

Housing sales to foreigners increased by 129.6% compared to the same month of the previous year and reached 3.866. In the housing sales to foreigners, İstanbul took the first place in August 2018 with a sales number of 1.141 houses. İstanbul was followed by Antalya with 675 sales, Bursa with 307 sales, Ankara with 305 sales and Yalova with 263 sales.

In August, Iraqi citizens bought 944 houses in Turkey. Iraq was followed by Iran with 394 houses, Saudi Arabia with 275 houses, Kuwait with 271 houses and Russia with 192 houses, respectively.
